I don't like being bad at the things that I do and I like to put everything I have into the things I do it. It's one of the reasons why you know 20 years ago I played chess I had some really great quick rating gains but they were the easy ones right? You can only control so much and I don't think that it's worth like jeopardizing the relationships in your life in order to study a bit more chess, he says. "You're being bad at chess is like a story that you're telling yourself" He continues: "It's not really true in an objective sense."
