The Paradox of Interpreters and Translators

There isn't always enough recognition of the expertise that goes into translation. The law also gives them a much higher level of expertise than it should in relation to identifying voices, profiling speakers and recognizing people's accents. So I'm hoping that we'll be able to work with Ozot the Australian Institute for Interpreters and translators at the end of the year to create some sort of statement from that organization.
