Snogmary Avoid: A Feminist Analysis
There was a really interesting show that I analyzed a few years ago out of the UK called Snogmary Avoid and they would take these women off the street who according to the show were wearing too much makeup. And then afterwards it would be like everyone wanted to marry them rather than avoid them because you know, they were so much more acceptable. It's actually there's some midpoint there of something that passes as natural and conservative. And that is what is acceptable. That's the kind of line that's trying to be enforced there.
