The Cost of Smoking Warnings on OTT Platforms
The rules are essentially clear that tobacco has to be featured whether it is pictorially or whether it is just smoke hanging ambiently in the air. It's all very well to say that you guys should go and put out these messages at the beginning, in the middle and every shot of tobacco smoke etc. There should be a warning but at the practical level is it realistically possible for the OTT platforms and the content producers to implement this order? I mean I think the order also says that it has to be in the same language as the language of the program or the TV show so is it like how feasible is it to do this? Well it is going to cost a lot of money
