Delaware Bay Is Vulnerable to Climate Change

Rising sea levels and increasingly violent storms are gnawing away at the coast. The approximately 2,000 square kilometer bay area along the Atlantic Ocean between Delaware and New Jersey is particularly vulnerable to climate change. Volunteers place rolled-up coconut mats tied together into the water to stop the erosion of the coastline. American Literal Society trying to restore habitat of horseshoe crabs.
