The Changes in the UK Tax System

The UK tax system is incredibly complicated. We're going to talk about five other things that are important for all doctors to know and all other health professionals as well. The main rate of corporation tax, I'm sure a lot of you will know by now, that went up from 19% to 25%. And any company that's between £50,000 and £250,000 of tax for profit, well, they're going to get a tapered rate basically. That effectively leads to a marginal tax rate of 26.5%, when you run the numbers.
