Gene Therapy for Recessive Distrophic Epidermalisis Bilosa
Gen therapy gall has been designed to a genetic skinned condition called recessive distrophic epidermalisis bilosa. People with this condition have faulty collegeant genes, and the idea is to give them new, healthy collegant gens. Scientists at stanford univer ity engineered herpy simplex virus so they could deliver healthy collegin gines into skin cells. It's actually recently been tested in 31 children and adults with the condition, and it had really, really impressive results.
