When you catastrophize about the things around you, you need to remember that your life is the same as it was. You've just kind of noticed a very big problem. And if you resolve that problem, right, on the other side of that, look at how much better things could become. That to me is like, that to me is the attitude to have. But I also think there's an optimism to this worldview,. People look at us and they're like, wow, you're really pessimistic about the future of species but we could also shape the future of humanity.
