This idea of holding ontologies loosely, am I correct that it relates to chaos magic? Definitely, but it also relates to, I just would say, good mental and Ontological hygiene. And we actually do this all the time. We routinely flip back and forth between paradigms and frames of reference in subtle and gross ways constantly. So being metacogdicent of that is a normal healthy thing to do and is a feature, not a bug.
