At Amazon Web Services, we had an organization dedicated to selling to one type of customer. That was dangerous because you have to sell to customers in the way that they want to be sold to. We re-segmented our whole business and it changed the way that we worked with customers. In Databricks, we now work specifically with digital natives and startups for a reason.
