The Cultural Container of Psychedelics

The ways that these substances have been used in indigenous cultures are so different than how they first started getting experienced in the West. The Western psychological model that we have for this now, it seems to me like you can't just directly port over the ceremonial methods and so forth into our Western culture. But you can learn some things from the abstract structure of how those substances are used. What do we need to change about that in order to get the most use out of this? I think people are more cleared up when they take factiles. And with improving education, that's improving too.
