The typical worker in the United States has not seen adjusted for inflation. The ratio of CEO pay to the pay of the typical worker went from about 20 to 1 in the 1960s when I began looking at these kinds of things to now 320 to 1 in large companies. And you get in almost every facet of American life, this widening gap. Young people today see a world in which there's a shrinking middle class and they worry.
