How to Deal With a Perception Gap

The media are in the business of getting our attention that's inescapable we can't. Our brain is wired to jump to conclusions and those conclusions will be informed by our feelings way more than the facts. Don't go to someplace that says what your tribe says and that feels good get them from a trustworthy source. Give the facts a louder voice and the rational brain a louder voice in the conversation with your emotions.
