The Duplicity of Tissa Faranese

Tissa Faranese began to pay 30 talents a month for 55 ships. For as many ships as they had above that, he paid three obels a man. However, after the Syracuse in general, Harmocrates began to protest, Tissa Farans agreed to give full amount of pay for just five ships. That same winter, the Athenian fleet at Samos was joined by 35 more ships under Harmonists, Strombikites, and Yukdomon. Frinnicus also called back their squadron at Kios, as well as any ships that they had out performing various reconnaissance missions in the Aegean.
