It took a while it took a few months before you could really start to see that it was working. Once they had enough characters once they had enough gameplay worked out and they started to recognize what the initial early hooks for monetization were. I think too many game developers feel like they're smarter than their audience and they commit too early to a monetization strategy and it kind of doesn't work out but I think the League of Legends management team was clever enough to understand that they had to be nimble and they were.
