How Much Champagne Was What?

My parents were both translators in europe after the war. H my father was a live translator at the nuremberg trials. My mother translated a written text between german and english. So it's a very academic household. And academic households a 19 sixties, when i was just about to turn eight years old,. or a man landed on the moon. I remember squinting up at the sky, trying to decide if if i could see the spaceship or not. But, you know, i think it was a great era for science - lots of children wanted to be scientists.
