Most of the time when I've invented something that's not needed, it's because I wasn't paying attention to the right wonder question. Have you ever seen like there's those ads on TV for like, have you invented something called the patent office? And it shows like a caveman with the wheel. But if you start with, even in that kind of comical case, it really is important to start with wonder so that you're not just inventing for invention sake but solving for an untapped potential or unrealized need for something.
