I find that sometimes, depending on where i am in the writing cess, being able to go fast versus slow has different benefits. I remember hearing a the author, naile game, and actually writes allohis his novels long hand with a fountain pen. He knows he can't stop writing for more than a couple of seconds because the ink gets a little bit sticky on the tip. His creative output is different when he's writing long hand, verses typing on a computer. But also, it forces him into a cadence that he's kind of not in control of. And he knows he just has to goingetheres. There's a literal physical constraint on his ability to slow down
