Tennessee's Republican Senate Majority Leader, Jack Johnson, introduced SB3 on November 9th. The bill would make it an offense for cabaret performers to hold shows on public property or in any location where it could be viewed by minors. Any performer who violates the potential law would be facing a class A misdemeanor with a maximum sentence of about a year in prison and a $2,500 fine. Repeat offenders might face six years behind bars and a $3,000 fine.
