Jesus Came Out of the City and Found the Woman

Jesus was bearing his divine witness of his true identity to this woman. She would be a nobody in their culture. And Jesus went out of his way to find her. That gives me hope that God sees us for who we can become, not for who we happen to be today or this year. He can work with us and get us to a certain point to become what we were destined to become as children of God, children of the covenant, and as disciples of Christ.
