The Life and Times of Lord Lucan
As a young man, Lucan was known to be charming and handsome. He lived a life of total luxury and enjoyed the finer things in life. But he quickly transformed into what has been described as a compulsive gambler. Gambling to put it bluntly became his entire life. In 1960, after a huge win playing Backgammon at a type of card game, Lord Lucan quit his day job for full-time gambling. The eligible bachelor married a lady called Veronica Duncan just before his 30th birthday - but their honeymoon ended ahead of schedule.
