Is That the Polytope You're Talking About?

IBM is using a quantum computer to simulate strongly correlated quantum systems. The idea comes from the theory of superconductivity, where electrons form couper pairs and all end up in a global quantum state. In this case, these couper pairs are highly correlated with each other so they can't just be described by mean field equations. This could lead to new techniques for creating coherent qubits or excitons.
