The Crusades - A Brief History
The crusader states a were gradually lost bit by bit over the course of centuries. The problems with supplying the crusades remained a tremendous it was very hard to keep a food and water flowing to a to frankish troops. Disease became an increasing problem for the crusaders. A, malaria and other fevers and mosquito born illnesses killed more crusading soldiers than combat did.
