An independent inquiry was just released and they had findings of systemic, emotional and sexual misconduct in the national women's soccer league here in the US. Some of the detail in that Yates report is really disturbing. Male coaches in positions of power, abusing that power, weaponizing it in a way to control female players either through sexual control or through controlling their access to success in the sport. I think what's happened in the US as awful as it is, is also inspiring, but I remain concerned that in this country, in the WSL, the Women's Super League, we haven't had this moment.
