Is There a Way to Remotely Monitor Heart Failure?
The diagnosis now of heart failure requires both biomarkers and imaging. Manage HF is a multi-modality physiologic monitor for patients who already have an ICD or CRT device. It can be upgraded with this multi-physiologic marker that takes into account whether the patient's developing an S3, whether the patient is sleeping with a more incline or not. So it really puts all of this together in what's called a heart logic score which seems to accurately predict that a patient is going to decompensate.
