Sir Gawaine and the Green Knight
The poem was collected by a man called robert cotton, who his interest was collecting old literature. He added this to his collection in his library in a place called ashburnham house. It's got a hundred and one verses, more than two and a half thousand lines. And they were written on vellum - calf skin, raf skin, animal skin. They also saved beowulf, which was singed at the edges, but they managed to get it out without being burned.
