The Unsteadiness of the Jewish Tradition

Tisha B'Av is perhaps the most mournful day on our Hebrew calendar. Yesterday, Jews around the world fasted and read from the book of Lamentations. Israel's ruling coalition has moved forward unilaterally with their judicial reforms. For Moses, as for us, the fear, the unknowing what tomorrow holds is destabilizing.
