Pregnancy and Paid Leave

In our Ambition Diary series, we heard a lot of stories about hiding pregnancies. Many doctors still do not have paid leave. A dentist who only had unpaid leave felt really guilty about even taking unpaid leave because she was the only dentist working in the practice on Fridays. The way in which our culture just does not prioritize the health of pregnant women is just from every angle.
