I'm doing the, like, the canonical slightly traditional old-fashioned stuff. I did it with Crusaders. When I did book about the Crusaders a couple of years ago, I thought, man, I just can't do Richard the Lionheart and Saladin beefing. So what I did with Crusaders was put together a traditional looking shaped book about the crusades - but made sure that all the way through women's stories were to the fore. And each main part was led by the story of a female crusader. This year I produced a drama about Amberlyn, for Channel 5. Jodie Turner Smith played Amberlyn. We had a powerful black woman playing Amber
