The Importance of Broadening the Definition of Activism
Within the book you've got people who have a much broader view of politics. Akugo, Abajulu she's actually been on the podcast a few years ago it is one of the leading I guess sort of theorists and practitioners around the idea of activism as political practice. We need to broaden out the definition of activism so we need to not just think about the kind of media images of young white activists doing demonstration against oil but we need to think about community organization and activism that might be happening for example in school playgrounds.
