Luna Simone was named with Nina Simone in mind. Aretha Franklin is a big influence to me, too. My grandmother actually, her playing style reminded me of Aretha's playing style. I mean, just listen to the piano and Nina Simone's I put a spell on you. But it just kind of that kind of thing.
