"I don't believe that we need a physical robot walking or rolling around interacting with the real world in order to achieve AGI and I think it's more of a distraction probably than helpful," he says. "The most promising approach is that you have an agent and you know that can be a virtual agent interaction with an environment possibly you know a 3D simulated environment like in many computer games" He adds: "This agent needs to be able to reason in very abstract spaces and then maybe sort of putting it into 3D environments simulated or it's even harmful"
