If you're constantly tuned in to what's everybody else talking about, then you're losing any chance of discovering. Being creative is a practice that i think deserves to be applied to strategizing your professional life too. Which brings us back to rob walker and his art of noticing. Rob came up with a hundred and 31 ways to awaken your senses, attune yourself to the world around you,. which can then help you get some distance from your everyday life and start thinking beyond it. Some of his suggestions are pretty odd, which is why i love them.
