A History of Anthropology - Black and Indigenous

The project started as an exploration of Garifana or a people of African and Indigenous ancestry. There had been very little work really looking at the relationship between Garifana and the larger society in which they live. So that became the subject of my book. I taught a course called race and anthropology at UCSD, which I've taught off and on for many years now. It's covering the Boazian intervention around race and racism.
