Pitching a Venture Founder, Is It Possible?

Some founders go too big in a way that makes them seem scattered. How do you pitch family and friends who can afford to lose money? I'd recommend working on an elevator pitch, maybe even a deck,. That's the friendliest audience you're ever going to get. Do we have to drop everything we're doing for fund raising? And if so, pretty much, yes.
