It seems to me that it is very important to understand how very superficial the mind as it is now and whether it is possible to go beyond it. We see that the more one has information and greater capacity in so-called daily life, we cannot go back to the ancient times or put away all machinery and science. To live in that world of technology and knowledge and information makes the mind only superficial. Most of us are content to live in that superficiality because that knowledge, technology and information gives us more money, more comfort, more well-being and so-called freedom. And a mind which would go very deeply must understand the limitation of technology, knowledge and information and live with that
