Benny Gantz and the Knesset
Benny Gantz was the leader of a united blue and white front that included the Ael Apid as number two. He thought he had managed to close all the legal loopholes so that Netanyahu could do nothing but transfer the prime ministership to Benny Gantz. But they left one loophole, which is that if the budget did not pass, then the Knesset would automatically be dissolved and the sitting prime minister would remain PM. The country can continue with no budget for almost two years.
