Malcolm already knew they were spotted. So he was smart. He started flagging down the cop car like, Hey, hey, hey, oh, can you please help us get back to the black side of town? And then the cops are like, Oh, these Negroes. They helped them get away. Because Malcolm's reasoning was that no white man would ever think you could outsmart them so you should just outsmart them. It happened a few times like this. Sophia and her sister, one day, they'll walk into a bar with a friend of Sophia's husband. The man wanted to hang out in the Negro side of town, as he of course would call it
