What Is Stream Processing and Why Is It Important?
I was doing a PhD in computer science at the University of Pennsylvania in distributed systems and had this recurring journey where I was finding many of the key fundamental work streams or research going on distributed systems were repeating work that had been done decades ago in databases. And that's how I got sucked into databases and I haven't turned back since. Now, we have lots to talk about here lots of really interesting stuff to talk about.
