The Hybrid Animals
The show's writers came up with the hybrid animals on their own. "Platypus Bear" was one of the first ones that I came up with, says co-creator Tom Charity. There are a lot of inside jokes but they don't know where they're coming from,. It's just weird jokes that aren't slapstick like super funny jokes.
