The Shame That Comedy Is Hell

I don't think you realize people are offended every single day. Comedy clubs, I get emails about jokes all the time. Often I agree. All I'm offended myself. But that's the way comedy clubs are. If I get involved in one dispute, I have to take a stand one way or another on all of them. And that's just not possible. Our former prime minister statements were offensive and unacceptable,. but he is not in the good books of his own people either. Hence why he lost the last election.
