There are some things that are just true. There's something, yeah, it's self-evident. These truths we find to be so that's what our founding fathers write. That's what they, at some point truths just have to be self-evidently or you can't justify them. Yeah. No, I am not arguing for, I'm not arguing for that being it. I'm just saying like, I'm just pointing to the research that at least points sheds light on how people do right. And this is why people, you could be despairing, you know, listening to all these studies. You will accept the first mildly plausible reason in its favor as evidence

Dave and Tamler try their best to do a show without guests--we talk about moral persuasion, motivated reasoning, and whether it's legitimate to use emotionally charged rhetoric in a philosophical argument. Plus, we describe how students proceed through the "Stages-of-Singer," and Tamler finally defends himself against Dave's slanderous accusation of hypocrisy about animal welfare.
