The acoustic environment for a bat is extremely rich. And there's just a lot going on. It's a very busy medium for them. So it's just actually like a little hard to imagine how they're able to manage their own echolocation signals, the echolocated signals of their neighbors. But in general, they do really well. Sometimes bats also increase their call rate in very challenging situations.
