CHAPTER

Fallout 3 - Roguelikes

There's plenty of inside levels in fallout I mean random randomized dungeons followed as never randomized functions. The games that do have randomized dungeons are roguelikes Diablo things like dwarf fortress the binding of Isaac desktop dungeons they all use sort of internalized random spaces now what I find kind of interesting is how games that borrow roguelike features when they do the use these random dungeons they use in quite simplistic ways if you look at the binding ofIsaac it's all quite simple rooms obviously it's going for that sort of Zelda-esque feel. Even dungeons of dreadmoor it has pre-designed rooms that are interlocked together instead of the sort of large sprawling levels you might see in like bang
