Second of two episodes dedicated to some common misconceptions that people have about therapy, meditation, personal growth and our development in this life. We started by focusing on hedonic adaptation - the idea that you can't really change very much in adult hood. Then we moved on to talking about pain and behavior change. And i gave a misconception to rick thatas something along the lines of, well, meditation is just kind of sitting still on a cushion and not thinking about anything. He responded in classic rick fashion, with a kind of four point plan the different kinds of meditation.
