Is Qualifying Really Dangerous?
F1 drivers don't really push until the last second and they build a gap. It only takes one car doing their flat out lap while another six cars are waiting at the final corner. Qualifying is much more dangerous than the race in some ways, just purely because of that difference in speed. And I think as well, when they not allow to slow down in a certain segment of the track last year and qualify,. which I don't think is ever policed properly.
