Do We Continue Teaching Great Books?
I think in the context of contemporary history of ideas, we will probably continue teaching great books. And then the question becomes more like how do we do it. Do we want to tell our students Hey, here's how the sausage was made? Right. So yeah, there is a paradox there, but I think that there are various ways of, of, you know, of addressing it and so on.
