How to Be Adaptive in the Moment
I'm proud of you managed to hack your systems to be adaptive in the moment. I think we speak for all of us. There's a really useful framework because it's only three things and the brain can kind of chunk things into three really easily. It becomes something you use a lot. We built a de-escalation training that we ran for the police, for agencies around the country after the George Floyd incident as our way of kind of trying to act boldly. The levels are based on research from a scientist named Dean mobs who looked at the amygdala and other threat regions in different threat conditions.
