I'm simply trying to shift the focus a little bit away from producing our way out of an ecological crisis and suggesting that a culture of unmaking will be necessary in order to slow the death spiral of global capitalism. It's something that has developed its capacities over centuries and so no one is suggesting that you could simply dismantle that in a matter of a few years.
