The Power of Genre Expectations in Movies

Willow is kind of like an offbeat Lord of the Rings, you know what I mean? Like, cause that's kind of, I would think that writing a chapter of that book would be Lord Of The Rings. Willow isn't listed on the great examples of it, but like they list labyrinth, the two towers, the never-ending story, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. So just seeing these examples in this book speaks to the power of when you're coming up with a premise, when you know what your movie is.
